Several activities are scheduled for the third annual event to be held at Fairfield High School, including a soup supper, raffle drawing and duck toss.
The soup supper, planned by the FHS Student Council, will begin at 5 p.m. in the school commons and cost will be by freewill donation. All proceeds from the supper will be going toward Coaches vs. Cancer.
Ongoing raffle ticket sales will continue at both admission gates until the start of the boys? game. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $5, and prizes include an Xbox 360 with Kinect, Kindle Fire and iPod Touch. The drawing will be held at halftime of the boys? game; winners need not be present to win.
Plastic ducks for the duck toss competition, scheduled for halftime of the girls? game, also will be on sale for $1 apiece. Winners of the toss will receive a prize basket.
In addition, fans are encouraged to wear pink for the ?Pink Out? theme. The varsity girls? basketball team will be donning their once-a-year pink uniforms.
A portion of the gate proceeds will be donated to the cause. The JV girls? game will begin at 4:45 p.m. at FHS, while the JV boys will play simultaneously at the Fairfield Middle School. Varsity girls will play at 6:15 p.m., and the varsity boys? game will follow.
