Coble, Kissell, Porter named to All-Substate team

An exciting end for the WACO Boy's Basketball team found Junior, Nik Coble being named to the All Substate-4 team with the most votes and Coach Kissell being named as All Substate Co Coach of the Year alongside Jeff Christopherson of Alburnett.
Coble set the single season rebound school record with 310 beating out Ryan Shelman, 299. Coble had 80 single season blocked shots breaking the school record held by Justin Reschly with 68 blocked shots. In his Junior season Coble averaged 17.9 points, which landed him second in the conference. He scored over 19 points per game in the Substate tournament.
Coach Paul Kissell led WACO to wins over Danville, New London, Notre Dame for the first time since 2008. Kissell has coached the Warriors for 4 seasons and was also named the Conference Coach of the Year and the All Golden Triangle Coach of the Year. This was the Warrior substate berth since 2005/06 season.
New London's Mason Porter was also named to the All-Substate team. Porter scored 16 points per game this year and scored over 16 points per game in the Substate.
