Columbus boys win first game of postseason
The Columbus boys basketball team won their game against Cardinal Saturday, Feb. 11, by a final score of 48-45, in the first round of the Class 1A District 10 postseason.
The score would be close after the first quarter with Columbus up 10-8, but Cardinal would come back in the second quarter to have the lead 23-21 at the half.

The Columbus boys basketball team won their game against Cardinal Saturday, Feb. 11, by a final score of 48-45, in the first round of the Class 1A District 10 postseason.
The score would be close after the first quarter with Columbus up 10-8, but Cardinal would come back in the second quarter to have the lead 23-21 at the half.
Columbus returned to the court after the break in a strong way pulling ahead 39-30 keeping their lead in the fourth to end the game getting the victory.
Beau Beckler led the Warriors in scoring with 11 points. Calvin Battle had nine points. Wyatt Harbison scored eight points.
Cornell Hulme had seven points in the game. Colton Horak scored five points, both Jacob Fried and Nik Coble scored three points apiece and Drew Kissell scored two.
The boys have a 4-17 record and next take to the court at New London Thurdsay, Feb. 16, starting at 8 p.m.
