Columbus clips Louisa-Muscatine volleyball

COLUMBUS JUNCTION — The Columbus Wildcats got a measure of revenge against Southeast Super Conference North Division foe, Louisa-Muscatine Tuesday for an earlier loss to the Falcons in Columbus Junction, but barely as the last two sets were two-point wins.
The Wildcats won in their second home volleyball match this season against L-M with a 25-18, 17-25, 26-24, 25-23.
Miriam Ruvacalba and Aracely Garza almost won the Wildcats a set with just their ace serves as they combined for 21. Sera Vela put up 20 assists and Victoria Howell knocked down 16 kills in the victory.
The Wildcats play Thursday at Washington. Columbus is 4-19, 2-6 while L-M is 5-14, 1-6.
