Columbus defeated visiting West Burlington-Notre Dame 24-0 on Friday night, ending the school?s 20-game losing streak.
Senior Esteban Gutierrez rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns to help the Wildcats (1-2, 1-0 Class 2A District 5) win for the first time since Oct. 23, 2009. Junior Mark Ramirez ran for 50 yards and a score.
