Columbus loses tight match to Wapello
Although Columbus was swept by Wapello in its Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division opener on Thursday night, the Wildcats were competitive in all three sets. The Arrows won by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-20.

Although Columbus was swept by Wapello in its Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division opener on Thursday night, the Wildcats were competitive in all three sets. The Arrows won by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-20.
Senior Megan Pretz had nine kills, five blocks and six digs to lead the Wildcats on the night, and sophomore Kelsey Pretz had five kills to go with 11 assists. Senior Christine Milder had three kills and four blocks. Junior Brooklyn Milder had five assists in the match, and junior Heidi Duttlinger had five digs.
Wapello swept Columbus in the JV match, and the Arrows won the fresh/soph match by scores of 21-17, 20-22 and 15-12.
