Columbus sails past Highland
COLUMBUS JUNCTION - In a Thursday Southeast Iowa Super Conference match, Highland's record fell to 3-13 with a North Division loss at Columbus 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.
Columbus is 8-12 and hosts Hillcrest tonight for Senior Night. Highland's next match is Thursday when Hillcrest visits.
Emma Soukup and MyLei Smith combined to put up nine asists as Highland teammates Kayla Cerny and Sarah Burton put down five kills apiece. Carson Mellinger had three blocks and Mackinze Hora had 13 digs.
