Craff first team all-SEC and team MVP for Trojans

The Fairfield softball team handed out its end-of-season awards Thursday.

Brittany Craff was given the team MVP after breaking the FHS single season and career record for home runs. The senior hit seven long balls this season and finished with 45 RBIs while hitting .325.

Rachel Schwarz was honored with the Senior Award, freshman Sydney Burnett was given the Gold Glove Award for her play in centerfield, and Marisa Repp and Mackenzie McClure were co-Rookies of the Year. Repp spent most of her time as catcher in her freshman season while McClure, an eighth-grader, was second on the team in innings pitched.

Craff and Katie Anderson were given first-team All-Southeast Conference recognition. Complete all-conference selections are as follows:
