Cross-country rankings released

Marie Hostetler and the Mid-Prairie girls were still atop Class 2A when the eighth rankings were released Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches.
Mid-Prairie also has Mitzi Evans at No. 8 and Abagail Evans at No. 23. The Golden Hawk boys are ranked 11th.
Pekin also has both of its teams ranked with the boys at No. 8 and the girls at No. 6. Brady Millikin and Colten Glosser are Nos. 9 and 10 respectively.
In Class 3A, Abby Ryon of Mt. Pleasant is ranked sixth.
The Danville-New London boys team is ranked seventh with No. 19 Ty Carr and No. 20 Alexander Julian. Addison Parrott at No. 7 in the girls individual rankings.
