Dale Emmet Wehrle, 89, of Salem, died Monday, April 18, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Herb Shafer officiating. Burial will be at Glasgow Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.

Mr. Wehrle was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Rome, Iowa, the son of William J. and Florence E. Dicus Wehrle. He married Agatha Belle Blucher March 7, 1942, in Hannibal, Mo.
