Dates set for Fairfield basketball camps

New Fairfield head girls? basketball coach Mick Flattery and staff will be hosting the Fairfield Trojan Girls Basketball Camp July 18-22 at FHS.

The camp is open to players entering grades 4-12. The 9-12th grade session will run 8-10:15 a.m. while grades 4-8 will be in the gym from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Cost of the camp is $35. It will stress individual offense and defensive fundamentals, team play and will also feature contests, including a 1-on-1 tournament, Trojan Shot and a 3-point championship.

Fairfield?s 1983 state championship coach Dan Breen will be this year?s featured speaker.

Registration can be completed prior to July 18 through the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department or at the door on the first day of camp.
