Demon bowlers open season

SIGOURNEY - The Washington bowling team opened the season Wednesday when it registered a 1341 score against Sigourney-Keota and West Burlington.
Sigourney-Keota rolled a 2096 and West Burlington 1907.
Ethan Zieglowsky's two-game total was 481 and Caleb Zieglowsky had a 238, Zach Heseltine 262 and Erica Williams 140. Ian Gainesworth led all scorers in the 16-person field with a 240 average.
The Demons bowl Wednesday in a dual at Sigourney.
