Demon bowling teams take part in Mt. Pleasant triangular
The boys and girls bowling teams played in a triangular against Mt. Pleasant and West Central from Illinois Saturday, Dec. 10, with the Demon boys finishing in second place and the girls taking third.

The boys and girls bowling teams played in a triangular against Mt. Pleasant and West Central from Illinois Saturday, Dec. 10, with the Demon boys finishing in second place and the girls taking third.
Leading the boys in scoring was Collin Zear who had a total of 460 after rolling a 214 in the first game and a 246 in the second. Tucker Renoux followed with a 200 and a 154 for a 354. Kolton Segebart had a 315 for the day after scoring a 167 and a 148. Kylan Gillette had a 150 and 153 for a 303, and Drake Schluetter had a total of 276, going 136 in the first game and a 140 in the second.
The boys had an 883 in the Baker games. Washington?s score was 2,591 while Mt. Pleasant scored 2,749 and West Central ended with a 2,256.
For the girls, Bailey Brown was the top scorer with a 227 (124 and 103). Taylor Northup followed with a 222 (107 and 115). Taylor Janecek ended the day with a 213 (122 in the first game and a 91 in the second). Rylie Swart ended with a 206 (96 and 110). Dawsen Schluetter had a 94 and 97 for a total of 191 and Katie Donnolly had a 53 and 83 for a 136 total.
In the Baker games the girls had a total of 460 compared to Mt. Pleasant?s 675. The Demon girls scored a 1,519 total, West Central had a 1,940 and Mt. Pleasant ended with a 2,046.
The Washington bowling team next competes Saturday, Dec. 17, at Keokuk beginning at 12 p.m.
