Demon boys fall to Fort Madison
The Washington boys? soccer team ran into a roadblock against the Fort Madison Bloodhounds on Thursday afternoon.

Despite 25 saves from Washington goalie Jacob Baughman, the Demons fell to Fort Madison 6-1, continuing a three-game losing skid.
Washington (1-3, 0-3 in conference play) picked up a goal from Giovanni Coronel in the loss, his first of the season.
Braxton Williams had a hat trick and two assists in the game for the Bloodhounds (4-1, 3-0 in conferenc play), while junior Austin Brune picked up two goals and Tristen Dickerson had the other for Fort Madison in the contest.
Adam Barnes picked up six saves against the Demons in net for the Bloodhounds.
Washington will look to right the ship on Monday afternoon, when they take on Mt. Pleasant (2-4, 1-2 in conference play) for its fourth road game of the season.
The Panthers enter the game on a four-game losing streak, having been outscored 14-3 over that span.
After Monday?s game, the Demons will play five of its next six games at home, starting with a nonconference game against Mediapolis (1-5) on Thursday.
Through the first four games of the season for the Demons, three players (Joe Smith, Christian Mejia and Tony Torres) have two goals, while two others have put in one.
The Demons only have three assists on the season for their eight goals, and have been outscored by opponents 15-6 during the three-game conference losing streak.
