Demon eighth-grade girls fall to Edward Stone
Visiting Edward Stone outscored the Washington eighth-grade girls? basketball team 14-2 in the second quarter and went on to defeat the Demons 28-18 on Tuesday night.

Visiting Edward Stone outscored the Washington eighth-grade girls? basketball team 14-2 in the second quarter and went on to defeat the Demons 28-18 on Tuesday night.
Alexi Evans, Michaela Roder and Brenna Weidman scored four points apiece to lead the Demons (0-2), while Jessie Buchholz, Bella Giardino and Lexi Redlinger chipped in two points apiece. Buchholz, Giardino and Redlinger grabbed three rebounds apiece, and Evans had a pair of boards. Roder and Weidman both pulled down a rebound. Evans had three steals in the contest, while Buchholz, Giardino and Redlinger each had one.
The Washington eighth-grade girls? basketball team travels to Aldo Leopold in Burlington on Thursday.
