Demon JV boys steal a win at West Liberty

Washington used a strong defensive effort to win a junior varsity boys? basketball game at West Liberty 56-34 on Jan. 15.

The Demons (10-2) came up with 16 steals as a team in the contest.

Junior Noah Lebsack scored 19 points to lead Washington, and he also had three rebounds, three steals and three assists. Junior Mason Quigley added 15 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists. Junior Walker Breard contributed seven points, five rebounds and three assists, and junior Elijah Wood scored five points. Sophomore Gage Redlinger had four points to go with five assists, three rebounds and two steals, and sophomore Blake Weidman had three points and three assists. Sophomore Isaiah Zuehlke chipped in two points, and sophomore Travis Friese had one.
