?We had a heart-to-heart at halftime,? Washington head coach Jay Zieglowsky said. ?I challenged their heart and I challenged their smarts. I said, ?It will come down to two things: your hearts and your heads.? They turned things around and played really, really hard in the second half. We only gave up 12 points in the second half.?
Sophomore Rachael Hall scored 10 points to lead the Demons (9-6), who won their sixth straight game. Sophomore Macy Marek added seven points, and freshman Amber Salow had six. Sophomore Sydney Hoffman scored five points. Sophomore Makenna Goodwin and freshman Morgan Kimball chipped in three points apiece, and sophomore Elle Van Gundy had two.
