Demon middle school wrestlers win 30 of 52 matches
The Washington middle school wrestling team traveled to Mt. Pleasant on Dec. 4 to take on Ottumwa, Keokuk and the host Panthers. The Demons won 30 of their 52 matches at the meet.

Trey Van Weelden, Kyle Anderson, Chandler Reid, Tanner Murphy, Austin Hazelett, Seth Townsend, Gabe Greiner, Jacob Hall, Chris Dickle and Bryce Craft each went 2-0 at the meet, and Karlton Skubal was 1-0. Andrew Waite, Alex Latcham, Cody Mellinger, Clayton Pacha, Colton Anderson, Dalton Moeller, Kiowa Keith, Ernest Shaw and Grant Giesking each went 1-1 on the day.
?This was a good meet for us,? Washington head coach Shawn Ellingson said. ?Our guys started wrestling hard and really improved from the last meet. I was really happy with the results.?
