Demons back in top 10, S-K stays at 9

The Demons are back. Washington football has risen back into the top 10 in the Class 3A Gazette rankings after their dominant win over Fairfield last week.

Washington's resurgence comes with help. Glenwood, the team that passed Washington for the No. 10 spot last week, fell in their game on Friday to open the floodgates for the Demons to get back in.

In Class 1A, Sigourney-Keota stayed at No. 9. All Class 1A teams once again won, meaning every team that was in last week's top 10 stayed in the top 10 this week.

No other Union area teams are ranked in the poll or receiving votes.
