Demons Cobras succumb to foes

Tuesday wrestling action saw Sigourney-Keota drop a pair at Pleasantville and Washington lose three at Center Point-Urbana.

The Demons scores for the three meets were Elkader Central 52-16, Anamosa 54-12 and Center Point-Urbana 66-12. The Cobras scores were PCM 58-24 and Pleasantville 54-21.

Against Central, at 182 pounds for the Demons, Jacob Hill scored a major decision 12-0, but Chase Greiner lost a major decision 12-3 at 170. At 120, Lane Schrock was pinned in 0:39

Greiner won by fall in 1:20 against Anamosa, but Hill was pinned in 1:46. At 113, Jack Kleese was pinned in 0:58 and Jacob Miller lost by fall in 3:05.

Hill got a second win with a pin in 0:53 against CPU but Schrock was pinned in 0:25, Miller lost in 1:36 and Greiner in 0:40.

S-K lost to PCM 58-24 and Pleasantville 54-21. Cobra winners were at 138, Talan Zickefoose, pin in 0:49; at 182, Aidan Schuster won twice by fall, in 3:24 and 1:33; at 220 where Cade Streigle's pin happened in 0:31 and at 160 where Jack Clarahan notched a decision of 12-9.
