For Mid-Prairie, Kadence Grout led the way with three hits, while Trimpe, Miller, Sophia Puttmann, Karnes, Foster, and Jergens each had one.
Washington followed up with a blowout victory over Keokuk. Tied 1-1 after three innings, the Demons exploded for 13 runs over the next three frames, three in both the fourth and fifth, and a massive seven-run outburst in the sixth to put the game out of reach.
The offense was firing on all cylinders with 17 total hits. Leighton Salazar had a monster game, going 4-for-5 with four RBIs. Colbie Greiner and Anderson each recorded three hits, while Ella Greiner and Messer added two apiece. Bella Salazar, Cuddeback, and Reagan Miller also had a hit each.
