Demons get a win in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD - Washington High School lost two Southeast Conference softball games Monday, falling 4-3 and 5-3.
The Demons baseball team took a 15-2 loss in its first game and trailed 9-5 after six innings, but rallied with seven runs in the top of the seventh inning for a 12-9 victory.
With the game tied at 9-9, Trevor Quigley doubled in the deciding run for Washington.
Cade Hennigan was a combined 4 for 6 in the doubleheader.
Kellie Dallmeyer was a combined 3 for 7.
The Demons baseball team hosts Williamsburg Wednesday.
The softball team plays at Mid-Prairie Wednesday.
