Demons, Panthers run at North Linn

TROY MILLS -- Abby Ryon's second-place finish at the North Linn Invitational Saturday helped Mt. Pleasant finish thitd in the 16-team girls team standings. Washington was 16th.

Ryon finished in 19 minutes, 3.2 seconds. Emily Staal of Springville-Central City had a winning time of 18:41.4.

Caleb Shumaker of Tipton won the boys race in 16:10.4. Washington's Evan Horak was ninth, helping the Demons place ninth as a team. Mt. Pleasant was 12th.
