Demons ranked No. 3 in AP poll

The Associated Press announced the Class 3A poll, which has the Washington football team ranked No. 3 in the state, receiving six first-place votes.

The Demons trail Pella by one point in the poll, and No. 1 ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier by nine points.

Washington will face Mid-Prairie (ranked No. 14 in Class 2A) on Friday night.
