Zach May (132) claimed a third-place individual finish with three pins and a 3-1 record. Joining him in third were Justin Dilks, 195 pounds, 2-1; and Colton Aplara, 220 pounds, 2-1, one pin.
As a team, Mt. Pleasant finished in seventh place with 110 points, just behind Albia (115 points, fifth place) and Ft. Madison (114 points, sixth place). Burlington won the Classic with 144.5 points. Second, third and fourth were filled in by Eddyville-Blakesburg (131), Knoxville (126.5) and Norwalk (123.5), respectively.
Host team Fairfield finished in eighth place with 102.5 points and Washington took 11th with 90 points.
