District pairings announced for 1A, 2A
Class 1A and 2A boys? basketball district pairings have been announced with tournament action set to begin Feb. 14.
Area rivals Cardinal and Van Buren are set to square off in a District 13 matchup in Keosauqua. Pekin is on the other half of the District and opens with a game vs. Albia on its home court.
Davis County vs. Wayne and Pella Christian vs. Eddyville-Blakesburg complete the bracket. The winner will advance

Davis County vs. Wayne and Pella Christian vs. Eddyville-Blakesburg complete the bracket. The winner will advance to Substate 7 to play the District 14 champ.
In Class 1A action, Maharishi School has the pleasure of traveling to second-ranked Danville for the District 9 opener, which will be played Feb. 17.
