Drake Relays results
Several area athletes participated in the Drake Relays last week with many having top finishes.
Hannah Anderson, from Washington, finished the long jump in second place with a distance of 18 feet 1 1/4 inches.
She also took 16th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.69.
The girls 4x100-meter team of Leah Marek, Jenah Greiner, Makenzi Marek and Anderson had a time of 51.53 to end the competition in 41st place.

Several area athletes participated in the Drake Relays last week with many having top finishes.
Hannah Anderson, from Washington, finished the long jump in second place with a distance of 18 feet 1 1/4 inches.
She also took 16th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.69.
The girls 4x100-meter team of Leah Marek, Jenah Greiner, Makenzi Marek and Anderson had a time of 51.53 to end the competition in 41st place.
Anna Hostetler, from Mid-Prairie, took first place in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:51.08.
Her sister, Marie, followed in second with a time of 9:56.78. Anna took fifth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.35.
Anna and Marie also competed in the 1500-meter run where Anna had a time of 4:34.20 to take second place and Marie came in fourth with a time of 4:43.36.
Representing Mid-Prairie in the 4x800-meter relay was Abby Tornow, Marie Hostetler, Kate Cavanagh and Anna Hostetler.
They ended the event in 12th place with a time of 9:50.42.
In boys action, Levi Duwa from Mid-Prairie took seventh in the shot put with a distance of 57 feet 9 1/2 inches.
Cornell Hulme from WACO finished the 100-meter dash in 25th place with a time of 11.41.
