As the election for supervisors draws closer, I thought I should share my experience working with Marg Dwyer on the Fairfield School Board of Directors.
I served with her for about four years. During her term, the ?alternative? school was opened and Project Lead the Way (a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math program) was implemented. As our board president, Marg was always fair, open-minded, and ready to listen to all sides of an issue. She spent countless hours on committees and believed every board member brought something different to the table and deserved to be heard.
Her business skills were invaluable and her dedication to this community unquestioned. Some people watch what is going on and complain and other people step up to serve to make things better. The latter was my view of Marg Dwyer and I hope she has this opportunity to continue to serve as a Jefferson County Supervisor.
