Keota and Montezuma led the South Iowa Cedar League in All-Conference selections for boys basketball with two apiece on the first team and one on second team. Both teams had five players named as did North Mahaska, but only one to the first team, whereas Montezuma and Keota had two first team selections. Each school had two honorable mentions.
The Eagles were the champions of the East Division and Montezuma won the West.
Luke Hammen and Carson Sprouse were the Keota players who made first team while Brady Duwa was second team and Bryce Greiner and Sam Sieren were honorable mention.
Hammen and Sprouse were a lethal combination for the Eagles with 17 and 16 points per game averages, which was fourth (Hammen) and fifth in the SICL East Division. Hammen led the East in 3-point percentage at 46.2 and was fifth in overall field goal percentage at 49.7. Sprouse was third in steals. Duwa was fourth in blocks, fifth in assists and second in field goal percentages at 52.3.
The Golden Award recognizes someone injured for the season and possibly could have been an all-conference player.
