Eight Panthers named to All-District football team

District 6 in Class 3A released its All-District teams this week for the 2018 high school football season. Eight different Mt. Pleasant players were named to the All-District teams, and 16 Panthers were named to the All-Academic team.

Four Panthers were named to the All-District first team, all seniors. Quarterback Zach Beason was named the offensive MVP, and the trio of Tucker Johnson, Chase Lamm and Levi Puig were honored to the first team as well.

Three juniors and a senior were named to the All-District second team. James DeMeyer made second team in his senior year, and juniors Logan Bass, Keegan Kohorst and Rylan Seberg found themselves on the second team.

Solon led the district with six players named to the two teams, including Adam Bock, who received the Defensive MVP award and the Special Teams MVP award. Farifield's Tristin Waugh was named Outstanding Lineman.
