Eighth grade boys' teams go 1-2 against James Madison, Fairfield
The Mt. Pleasant eighth grade boys? basketball team came home with a 1-2 record from contests in Burlington and Fairfield in the last week.

The Mt. Pleasant eighth grade boys? basketball team came home with a 1-2 record from contests in Burlington and Fairfield in the last week.
The ?A? team lost to James Madison, 49-26, and to Fairfield, 42-23.
Keegan Pullis had 18 points to lead the Panthers against James Madison, while Cale Christner and Alex Carrasco each added four points.
Against Fairfield, Darren Hunter was the leading scorer with eight points, and Pullis wasn?t far behind with seven.
The Panthers? ?B? team lost to James Madison, 28-18, but picked up a narrow win over Fairfield, 19-17.
Ben Rauenbueheler had nine points against James Madison. Against the Trojans, Rauenbueheler had five points and Korte Maddy add four points.
In the ?C? games, the Panthers defeated James Madison handily, 26-8, but lost a close game against Fairfield, 22-20.
Wolfgang Shumaker scored seven points for the Panthers against James Madison. Ronnie Anderson added five points and Ethan Bochting scored four.
Against Fairfield, Shumaker had another seven points to lead the Panthers once more. Bochting and Alex Rauscher added four points each.
The Panthers will play again at Fairfield on Monday, Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m.
