Eighth-grade tournament team wins in Davenport

The Mt. Pleasant eighth-grade boys? basketball tournament team won the Beyond the Baseline ?Season Kick-Off? tournament in Davenport last weekend. The team went 4-0, defeating Cedar Rapids Rush, Mt. Vernon, Davenport West, and Team Quick (Rock Island).

The Mt. Pleasant third-grade boys? basketball tournament team also competed in the Beyond the Baseline ?Season Kick-Off? tournament in Davenport, and they went 0-3. The team played the Iowa Stunners (Davenport) twice and Moline (4th graders). Team members are Aaiden Ashton, Gabriel Feldmann, Noah Keefer, Blaise Porter, Ben Lourens, Will Davidson, Carter Amos, Konner Wade and Zerek Venhaus. Reean Seberg was unable to attend. The team is coached by Ronnie Ashton.
