Fairfield bowlers land postseason accolades

Stian Hoff led the Fairfield boys? bowling team to its first state bid in the program?s three-year history and has received first-team all-state honors in Class 1A.
Hoff, a senior foreign exchange student from Norway, was one of 14 selections to the all-state squad after finishing second at the Class 1A State Bowling Championships in February. The Southeast Conference champion Trojans finished third as a team at the championships.
The Trojans also made up nearly half of the Class 1A honorable mention team, taking five out of the 11 spots. All-district selections Mitch Goudy and Ben Hull were named honorable mention all-state, as was sixth-place state finisher Andrew Chatfield. Gabe Hull and Cody Craff also received honorable mention honors.
