Fairfield bowling hands out end-of-year awards

FAIRFIELD - Members of the Fairfield bowling team received their end-of-year awards last week, shortly after the Trojans wrapped up the 2021 season in the state qualifying meets.
Chance Swan and Karen Ehret were honored for having the high average on the boys and girls teams respectively this season. Swan ended the season with an average game of 202, and Ehret finished the year with a 155 average.
The awards for the most improved bowlers went to Chris Kyle and McKayla Taylor. Both Kyle and Taylor improved their season averages by 27 pins.
Three players were given awards for notable improvement this season. Nicole Robb added 25 pins to her average. Airianna Taylor added 23, and Wyatt Baker added 20.
