Fairfield bowling sweeps Washington
Trojans start Southeast Conference year with 1-0 starts

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield bowling teams hosted Washington in Southeast Conference action on Monday. The Trojans walked away with a pair of wins.
On the boys’ side, Fairfield outlasted Washington 2,446-1,869. The Trojans were led by Dylan Adam, who finished his day with a 356. Ethan Cass had a big first meet as well, throwing a 349.
The Washington boys had two players over 300. Caleb Zieglowsky led all bowlers with a 385 series. Freshman Kellton Burke made his high school bowling debut with a 305.
Washington’s Cooper Zahs rolled a 217. Trevin Sulentich finished at 199. Bryce Fogle rolled a 168, and Mason Catenaccio finished at 150.
On the girls’ side, Fairfield beat a short-handed Demon squad 1,683-201. Fairfield’s Eleanor Houston paced the team with a 254 series.
Washington’s only bowler on the girls’ side was Brittany Diveney, who rolled a 201.
