Fairfield bowling team competes in Washington
The Fairfield bowling team traveled Saturday to Washington to take on the Demons and the Keokuk Chiefs.
The boys? and girls? teams both finished second behind Keokuk, while Washington finished in third.
The boys lost by a mere 37 pins. Chet Vogt led his squad with a game two 201 and a round one score of 348. Kyle Ruckman and Eric Swan both scored more than 330 in the first round.

The Fairfield bowling team traveled Saturday to Washington to take on the Demons and the Keokuk Chiefs.
The boys? and girls? teams both finished second behind Keokuk, while Washington finished in third.
The boys lost by a mere 37 pins. Chet Vogt led his squad with a game two 201 and a round one score of 348. Kyle Ruckman and Eric Swan both scored more than 330 in the first round.
The Trojan girls were led my Sara Trent, who earned a game one 193 and knocked down a total of 341 pins in the initial round. Kylee Marlay notched second on the girls team by knocking down 314 pins in round one.
Fairfield returns to Washington Saturday for the Southeast Conference tournament. Mt. Pleasant and Keokuk will join Fairfield at the meet.
