KEOKUK — It was all Fairfield in a Southeast Conference boys soccer match at Keokuk on Thursday night.
Fresh off a shut out win over Mt. Pleasant earlier in the week, the Trojans made it two in a row with a dominant 7-1 win at Calvert Stadium.
Fairfield scored four goals in the first half and took a commanding 4-1 advantage into the break. The Trojans added three more in the second half while shutting out the Keokuk offense.
Fairfield was led by Bihn Troung, who scored two goals on the night. Jaxen Allen had a nice night as well, scoring one goal and dishing out two assists.
Tate Allen, Cooper Polonsky and Danny Ellinguas each scored a goal in the win. Ezra Kuster and Richard Curtis had an assist each.
Goalkeeper Mikael Anderson spent 74 of the 80 minutes in net, saving two shots and allowing just one Keokuk goal. After moving to an offensive position, Anderson scored his first goal of the season.
Dalton Drish came in to close out the game in net for the Trojans. He had one save in the win.
Fairfield is now 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the SEC. The Trojans will host second-ranked Fort Madison (9-0, 5-0) on Monday.
