Fairfield boys finish fifth in Pella
Trojans Weaton leads team with lowest score after 18 holes

PELLA — The Fairfield boys golf team took a break from Southeast Conference action on Tuesday, but the Trojans were still on the golf course.
Fairfield headed over to Pella to compete in the LHC #2 at Bos Landen.
With a six team field, the Trojans finished fifth overall with a final team score of 368.
Pella Christian was the winning team with a low of 333. Oskaloosa, Grinnell, Pella and Newton golfed as well.
Leading the Trojans after 18 holes of action was Max Weaton finishing with a team-low of 85.
Dave Eisner was the next lowest Trojan score. Eisner finished with a 90.
Nile Christensen followed with a 95 after his day on the course. Landon Nodurft carded a 98 in the meet.
Austin Lisk tallied a 102 and Sam Weaton ended with a score of 105.
Fairfield will be back at it on Monday, April 24 as they will head to Fort Madison’s Sheaffer Memorial Golf Park for an all-SEC contest.
It will be the Trojans and SEC teams second time at Fort Madison.
