The Fairfield boys? golf team won by one stroke in Williamsburg Thursday.
Fairfield finished with the score of 153, while Williamsburg scored 154. Oskaloosa scored a 186.
The Trojans played without No. 4 golfer Alex Shier, who sat out because of a back injury. Five out of Fairfield?s six golfers shot a 42 or below.

Fairfield senior Matt Carr led the Trojans with a 35 (1-under-par). Carr had two birdies and shot 2-under-par on par-5 holes.
Nick Higgins shot a 38 and Landon Gamrath shot a 39. Joe Hietpas finished with a 41 and Dillon Shelby shot a 42.
The golf team will host Eddyville-Blakesburg Monday.
