PELLA - The Fairfield boys basketball team had a tough night in Pella on Tuesday night, as the Trojans took on Pella Christian in non-conference play.
The game was a defensive battle in the first half. It was tied 10-10 after one quarter, and the Trojans were just down four, at 20-16, entering the halftime break.
Pella Christian kicked it into high gear in the final two periods. The Eagles outscored the Trojans 24-11 in the third quarter and 21-11 in the fourth.
The Trojans have now lost two-straight games after a four-game winning streak to start off 2025. Fairfield (5-8, 3-3) will host Washington (5-8, 3-3) on Friday night.
