In the first outdoor meet of the year, the Trojans scored 119 points to win the Class B title. The Wildcats dominated in Class C, winning the team race with 172 points.

Fairfield won two field competitions. Eli Zillman took first place in the long jump, and Ryan Giberson was first in the high jump.
Columbus had seven wins of their own in Class C, most coming in sprint events.

Columbus’ 4X100 relay team and shuttle hurdle team both took first place. Ty Muniz took first place in the 3200.
The team’s lone field championship went to Riley Kaalberg in the long jump.
WACO, who also competed in Class C, won three events. Jude Dykstra took first place in the 1600-meter run. The Warriors’ sprint medley team and distance medley team both came out on top.
Other area Class C winners included Winfield-Mount Union’s Cooper Buffington in the shot put, as well as Keota’s Ayden Gallindo in the high jump.
Both Washington and Mt. Pleasant competed in Class A, which was stacked with some high-level 4A talent. Neither team scooped up any individual or relay medals.
