The Fairfield boys and girls basketball teams both suffered defeats on Tuesday night to Oskaloosa.

On the boys’ side, Fairfield came up just short to the Indians 54-46, while the girls were defeated 58-21.

The Trojans will be back at it on Thursday when they host Albia. On Friday, Fairfield will open Southeast Conference play against Fort Madison.
