Fairfield girls fall at Fort Madison
FORT MADISON ? The Fairfield girls? tennis team dropped an 8-1 match Tuesday on the road against Southeast Conference opponent Fort Madison.
Haylee Gilpin recorded the lone victory for the Trojans with an 8-3 victory at No. 6 singles, but fell 8-5 in her doubles match along with partner Qianying Li. Emily Lemke fell a few games short of another victory for Fairfield as Fort Madison?s Stephanie Frenz won a 7-1

FORT MADISON ? The Fairfield girls? tennis team dropped an 8-1 match Tuesday on the road against Southeast Conference opponent Fort Madison.
Haylee Gilpin recorded the lone victory for the Trojans with an 8-3 victory at No. 6 singles, but fell 8-5 in her doubles match along with partner Qianying Li. Emily Lemke fell a few games short of another victory for Fairfield as Fort Madison?s Stephanie Frenz won a 7-1 tiebreaker to take the No. 4 singles match 9-8.
Fairfield won the only two JV matches as Megan Palmer won 6-3 and Jennifer Clements posted a 7-6 (7-2) victory.
Next up for the Trojans will be a trip to Davis County Thursday.
