FAIRFIELD — Fairfield girls soccer picked up its first victory of the season on Tuesday night in its season opener against Mediapolis.

The Trojans defeated the Bulldogs 2-0.

Fairfield delivered two first half goals to get by Mediapolis and secure its home opening win.

For the Trojans, it's their first win in an season opener since the 2018-19 season.
