Trojans finish second at home Triangular

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield girls golf team picked up a second-place finish last Thursday in its home Triangular.

Pella took the team title with a low of 197. Fairfield followed with 203, edging out Southeast Conference foe Keokuk by one stroke, 204.

Viola Welsh finished with the lowest score on the day for the Trojans. Welsh shot a 45, tying for third.

Macy Rayburn followed with a 49 for fifth. Kate Pettit shot a 53. Sara Kretz totaled 56. Maggie Rayburn ended with 58 and Myah Twohill a 59.
