Fairfield hopes for redemption against Benton
Trojans look to bounce back against Bobcats after loss last week

FAIRFIELD — After suffering a loss last week to Southeast Conference foe Keokuk, Fairfield football looks to get back in the win column against Benton.
The Trojans (2-2) were defeated by Keokuk last Friday night, 30-13.
On the contrary, Benton (3-1) enters the contest off a big 42-27 win over Clear Creek-Amana.
Prior to the loss to the Chiefs, Fairfield picked up a big win over Washington, 23-20.
Fairfield has a chance to spoil the Bobcats homecoming with a win.
Sam Weaton is under center for Fairfield. Weaton has thrown for 35 yards and one touchdown since taking over the quarterback roll.
Out of the backfield, Cason Miller has amassed 691 yards with six touchdowns. Wyatt Johnson follows with 304 yards.
Tallon Bates leads the receivers with 31 yards. Lucas Konczal has 25 receiving yards for Fairfield. Bode Hoskins has two catches for 23 yards. Landon Nodurft has the Trojans lone receiving touchdown.
Defensively, Weaton had 16 total tackles. Caden Allison has 13.5 tackles.
For Benton, Owen Tjelmeland has 125 passing yards. Brenden Heying has 64 yards as well.
In the run game, Carson Bruns has 413 total yards and seven touchdowns. Tjelmeland has 264 yards and five touchdowns. Heying has rushing for 186 yards and five scores as well.
Easton Pfiffner leads in receiving with 139 yards and 12 catches.
Dylan LeFebvere leads on defense with 18 tackles. Pfiffner and Heying each have 17 for Benton.
The Trojans and Bobcats will kickoff at 7 p.m. on Friday.
