Fairfield JV boys' basketball team wins two
Vince Horras recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds and the Fairfield JV boys cruised to their second straight win Saturday.
The Trojans downed Danville by the final score of 44-30 to improve their overall season record to 5-4.

The Trojans downed Danville by the final score of 44-30 to improve their overall season record to 5-4.
Horras connected on 8-of-12 shots from the field and went 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
Fairfield?s Jordan Whitney scored eight points, Landon Gamrath had seven, and Joe Hietpas and Kyle Weirup added four points apiece. Gamrath totalled three assists, and Whitney, Alex Shier and Matt Carr dished out two assists apiece.
Defensively, Gamrath led the way with three blocks and Carr blocked one shot. The Trojans nabbed 11 steals, led by Horras? three and Shier?s two.
Fairfield?s JV squad is set to host Eddyville-Blakesburg tonight.
JV boys top Bloodhounds
FORT MADISON ? The Fairfield JV boys? basketball team won its first contest of 2012 with a 42-37 victory over Fort Madison Friday.
Vince Horras led the Trojans with 12 points, nine boards and two blocked shots. Kyle Weirup scored 10 points and Joe Hietpas had six points and three steals. Alex Shier and Jordan Whitney added six and four points, respectively.
