Fairfield JV rolls past Washington
WASHINGTON, Iowa ? Fairfield JV baseball concluded Southeast Conference play Thursday with a pair of big wins against rival Washington.

WASHINGTON, Iowa ? Fairfield JV baseball concluded Southeast Conference play Thursday with a pair of big wins against rival Washington.
The Trojans opened the doubleheader with a 17-3, four-inning victory and continued their dominance in the nightcap, winning 14-4.
The Trojans tallied 12 hits in each contest, and Narendra Martin led the offense in game one with 2-for-2 hitting and three RBI. Patrick Ives went 1 for 2 with a two-run double and Justin Leonard finished 2 for 3 with one RBI.
Also in the opener, Nick Jackson allowed three runs in four innings to earn the win. Nickson gave up seven hits but fanned four Demons.
In game two, Cody Craff went 3 for 3 with two RBI, and Wyatt Stark knocked in two runs on 2-for-4 hitting. Jordan Reid and Ives had two hits and one RBI apiece.
Jordan Whitney was the winning pitcher and allowed three runs in 2 1/3 innings; he punched out two batters. Logan Fleeman allowed one run in 2 1/3 innings of relief, and Stark tossed the final 1 1/3 innings and allowed no runs.
Fairfield JV (19-13, 11-5 SEC) wraps up its season today in Knoxville.
