Fairfield loses four set battle at Williamsburg
Trojans force fourth set, come up short against Raiders

WILLIAMSBURG — Fairfield hit the road on Thursday night, taking a trip up to Williamsburg for a matchup with the Raiders.
The Trojans (11-14) put up a valiant effort, but came out with a loss to the Raiders (14-8) 3-1, 25-13, 25-10, 26-24 and 25-19.
Elyse Setterstrom led the Trojans in kills with 13. Lilly Bergren followed with nine kills and Jaden Haynes ended with eight.
Faith Jones tallied 31 assists to pace Fairfield.
Isabel McCready finished with 16 digs, followed by Bergren with 11 and Olivia Hollander with 10.
Mallory Wigle had the Trojans’ only ace on the evening.
The loss ends a two match winning streak for the Trojans.
Fairfield will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Keokuk for the opening round of the Southeast Conference Tournament.
