Fairfield man places at first annual CrossFit competition
Jeffrey Stone, owner and trainer of Boom Fitness in Fairfield, placed second in the men?s division at the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Corridor CrossFit Competition in Iowa City.
Stone, 25, was in fifth place headed into the final round of 12 and ended the day with 93 points, missing first place by only four points.
The Jan. 28 event drew some of the best CrossFit athletes in Iowa with 44 men competing.
